Guto performs traditional tales and has featured at the Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival in the Vale of Glamorgan; Festival at the Edge in Shropshire; the Welsh Pavilion at the Festival Interceltique at Lorient, Brittany; Suns Peraulis Musichis des Minorancis, Udine, Italy; Aberystwyth Storytelling Festival, among the others.

What is World Storytelling Day?
World Storytelling day is a global celebration of oral Storytelling, started in Sweden in 1991 as Storytelling Day and now celebrated at international level all over the Globe by the groups and artists belonging to the Storytelling Revival.
The aime of WSD is to encourage as many people as possible all over the world to listen and tell stories on the same theme - possibly in their own language - on the same day. WSD is namely on the 20th of March, but is celebrated also during the previous and following weekends in order to involve as many people as possible.
Theme for 2018: Wise Fools
Every village, everywhere in the world has a fool... but in the end he/she often prooves to be also the wisest of all. This is what old stories tell us in their wisdom and characters like Nasruddin Hodja/Juha have been audience favourites in the stories of the oral tradition since very old times.
In 2018 WSD is dedicated to them, those characters that in the old stories make us laugh, but always teach us something as well.
